The Cacodemon is a mob inspired by the Doom games. It is very much like a Ghast in behavior, but has a few key differences. The Cacodemon takes less damage per-hit than the Ghast due to having tougher skin. Its fireballs also create larger explosions. The explosions caused by the Cacodemon also cause fire, which can quickly cause problems in the nether. Exercising caution around Cacodemons is recommended. The mob currently drops nothing, but this is expected to change in the future.
